Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Credit Clerk on a temporary basis on our Financial Planning, Analysis, & Credit team (term up to 8 months).

This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Members of this team are currently working primarily from home, coming into the office one day a week.

WHO YOU ARE:

You are looking for a career in Finance and:

• Have a high school diploma and one introductory accounting course from an accredited post-secondary institution. Candidates with a high school diploma and 1 year of relevant accounting experience will also be considered.
• Are familiar with basic accounting functions (debits and credits).
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable functional area.

• Manage new applications for commercial customer accounts with FCL.
• Allocate EFT and cheques to correct general ledger accounts, which will include contacting internal departments to collect codes.
• Prepare bank deposits and electronic deposit of cheques.
• Key and match customer payments.
• Enter journal entries, debit memos, and credit memos.
• Other duties as required.
