Description:

We are in search of a Credit & Collections Manager to support our client’s team situated in Cullman, Alabama. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing credit and collections operations, ensuring accuracy in customer accounts and providing solutions to customer inquiries. This position is a contract role and is ideal for individual’s adept in B2B collections, accounts receivable, billing functions, and cash activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the processing of customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer credit data
  • Act as the first point of contact for resolving customer inquiries related to credit and collections
  • Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions based on account status
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all credit and collections operations
  • Utilize skills in B2B collections to manage and improve collections processes
  • Manage accounts receivable and ensure all payments are processed in a timely manner
  • Oversee billing functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Handle cash activities and applications, ensuring all cash transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled
  • Provide training and consultation to new credit managers.
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proven experience in B2B collections
  • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Experience in managing Billing Functions
  • Ability to oversee Cash Activity and Cash Applications
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to credit and collections
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
