Description:
Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled, dynamic, and passionate professional to manage their Credit and Collections team. This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 10-15 employees, focusing on credit risk, AR & Credit reporting, & improving processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily operations of the credit and collections team.
Develop strategies and implement new policies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Actively participate in the credit decision making process, including credit review, collections and overall risk assessment.
Play an active role in the training and development of the credit and collections team to ensure performance goals are met.
Oversee and lead software implementations and system integrations to enhance productivity.
Analyze customer financial conditions and authorize credit lines.
Implement a consistent and legal collections process.
Manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
Proven experience as a Credit and Collections Manager.
Knowledge of legislative and regulatory guidelines on credit and collection procedures.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with the capability of delivering accurate and high-quality output.
Proficient with credit and collections software, and well-versed in software implementation.
Experience with process improvement and infrastructure development.
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and solve complex problems.
