Description:

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Credit & Collections Manager in the insurance sector, located in Alpharetta, Georgia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the revitalization and management of our Accounts Receivable Group, ensuring the effective operation of our financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the Accounts Receivable Group, including the management of a small team of accounting specialists
  • Performing comprehensive evaluations of existing accounting procedures, pinpointing areas for improvement, and aligning operations with industry best practices
  • Leading the strategic revitalization of the department, incorporating effective personnel management, process efficiency, and technological optimization
  • Utilizing knowledge of Dynamics Great Plains to inform process improvements and desired outcomes
  • Leveraging advanced Microsoft Excel skills for effective tracking, analysis, and reporting of financial data
  • Assessing departmental performance and developing necessary procedures and controls for maximum efficiency and compliance
  • Ensuring all financial transactions are monitored and processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Conducting regular audits to identify discrepancies and implementing corrective measures to resolve issues.
  • Proven experience in the Insurance industry.
  • Previous role as a Credit & Collections Manager or a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle Aged Receivables.
  • Strong skills in Forecasting.
  • Familiarity with Great Plains Dynamics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
