Credit & Collections Specialist

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Credit & Collections Specialist in EUGENE, Oregon. This role is primarily based in the financial services industry and requires the individual to be involved in credit and collections processes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make process and implementation improvements, while also maintaining existing customer relationships.

• Efficiently process customer credit applications.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records.
• Proactively reach out to customers to resolve inquiries and maintain good relationships.
• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary.
• Assist in the setup of new accounts.
• Apply basic understanding of accounting principles in daily operations.
• Use various software systems including Accounting Software Systems, Accurint, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, etc.
• Perform billing functions and adhere to Collection Processes.
• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems
• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Comfortable with answering inbound calls
• Experience in billing functions is essential
• Knowledge of collection processes is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discretely
