Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Credit Control Assistant to join our operations team.
The Credit Control Assistant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Contacting customers who owe money to the company, primarily through phone calls, in a professional and courteous manner
  • Following up on overdue accounts and negotiating payment plans as necessary
  • Keeping accurate records of all communication and actions taken on accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly reports and analyses of accounts
  • Resolving any disputes or discrepancies with customers
  • Precise and timely payment allocation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols for efficient financial transactions.
  • Managing debt escalation with a debt collection agency, ensuring effective strategies and adherence to protocols for efficient debt resolution.
  • Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and enhance overall debt recovery.
