Description:

We are looking for a Part Time Credit Control Assistant to join us here at Right Fuelcard.
The purpose of the role is to contact customers to collect outstanding debt and minimise bad debt. We are looking for a passionate and driven credit controller, with a proven track record of handling a varied workload as part of a dynamic team.
The role will be 19 Hours a week and offer a day a week working from home.

Responsibilities:

A BIT ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Perform all daily/weekly department tasks in order to ensure effective debt collection, and minimise bad debt risk to the business
  • To perform accurately and with strong attention to detail whilst working to tight deadlines.
  • Logging customer communications to ensure consistency of service and experience.
  • Providing assistance to the Credit Manager and other generic office duties include handling emails, monthly reporting, etc.
  • Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel, including the sales team.
  • Ensure timely, assertive communication in order to minimize debts
  • Monitoring and managing credit exposure reports on a daily basis, in order to minimise risk
  • Processing accounts for further action if/when required, such as sending accounts legal and providing required information to our legal providers
  • Contacting customers with regards to outstanding debt via telephone and email; ensuring timely payments
  • Support the team and wider business by showing an innovative mindset at all times
  • Bring forward ideas where there are potential improvements in processes and where efficiencies can be realised.
  • To ensure that all core duties are delivered successfully.
  • Responsible for the health and safety of yourself and those around you. You must adhere to all H&S policies, practices and escalate any issues in the correct way.
