Summary of Role
Reporting to the Credit Control Supervisor, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for providing a robust credit control service for Property Services companies. This role will require interaction with customers, other Finance team members, and customer service teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Daily collection activities and maintenance of the sales ledger
- Point of contact for all internal and external billing queries
- Liaise with all members of the sales team and customer services to resolve customer queries
- Chasing outstanding & overdue debt by phone and email
- Working proactively to ensure accounts do not become overdue
- All written communication and processes actioned to agreed timescales
- Meet targets set
- Taking payments by debit or credit card
- Raising credits when required
- Setting up new customer accounts including direct debit instructions

- Good level of numeracy

- Proven ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines
