We are looking for a skilled banking professional who is interested in implementing and executing a highly effective 1st Line of Defense (LoD) controls management framework. This is your chance to work closely with the business in testing their controls to ensure robust business processes and safeguarding Danske Bank and our customers.
Join our Business Controls and Product Management (BCPM) team, a key component in supporting strategic business objectives across our three business units: Large Corporates & Institutions, Business Customers, and Personal Customers. As part of our independent 1st LoD control testing unit within BCPM, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our controls are not only well-designed but are also operating effectively. Our Financial Risk Testing team is committed to ensuring compliance with regulations, internal risk frameworks, and credit policies.

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for an experienced banking professional who is enthusiastic about completing tasks, influencing outcomes, and delivering results. The ideal candidate should be collaborative, curious, and possess a holistic perspective - able to understand broader implications beyond the details. You possess good communication skills tailored to your audience, thrive in data analysis, and are eager to grasp new concepts in financial risk management.
We imagine that some of the characteristics to describe you would be:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience related to financial risk management (incl. non-financial risk and/or regulatory risk /and/or credit risk)
- Relevant university degree, similar educational background, or a degree in finance such as a Bachelor of Finance or Financial Economist
- Knowledge of financial products and processes
- Fluency in English and one/two Nordic languages
- Experience as an advisor, credit consultant, or in controlling/reporting is beneficial

Responsibilities:
You will oversee and manage credit risks for credit activities, contributing significantly to the team and our goals to streamline processes. Your role involves developing and implementing credit control procedures and reporting tools to ensure adherence to internal procedures and credit policies. Additionally, you will help enhance a data-driven controlling process.
Key responsibilities
- Perform controlling of credit cases in Denmark
- Perform control testing of the credit process according to the planned annual Book-of-Work
- Gather findings to relevant reports and dashboards, identifying both specific and structural issues and supporting the work to find solutions to strengthen our credit risk culture
Contribute to an efficient and effective credit controlling processInteract and liaise with both 1. Line and 2. Line stakeholders
