Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Credit Manager to join our team at our Surrey headquarters. Reporting to the Controller, you will manage credit risk and accounts receivable across Western Canada. Leading the Credit Department, you’ll balance sales, cash flow, and risk through credit approvals and collections. The role involves partnering with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships, while also mentoring a team of credit specialists to ensure success in a dynamic environment.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE:
- Post secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent combination of related experience and education
- CCP designation is a strong asset.
- 10+ years of customer experience
- 5+ years in a management role in a high-growth entrepreneurial environment
- 5+ years in a collection’s role across Western Canada
- Demonstrated experience leading, managing and mentoring a team
- Experience working in a similar industry is a strong asset
- MS office and ERP experience and the ability to learn new software.
- Excitement around continuous improvement and improving processes
- Highly level of professionalism grounded in integrity, strong communication
- (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and respect cultural diversity; ability to be inclusive, collaborative, and respectful.
- Reliable transportation is required.
