Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

Credit Risk Management is an independent approval and monitoring function for credit exposure within the entire DB group. The transaction team for Developed Markets Corporates is responsible for all transaction requests for our Western European and North American corporate clients (Large Caps). The product range comprises alle kinds of cash credit (syndicated or bilateral as well as M&A), Trade Finance and Cash Management products as well as derivatives. The team works closely with different product and coverage units in the Corporate and Investment Bank, with our internal ratings hub (GCAF), various other risk management functions (Enterprise Risk, Market Risk, Exposure Risk) or other infrastructure units (Legal, Finance, COO, Operations).

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or similar with professional experience and good analytical skills (ideally for Corporates and already proven in practice)
  • Experience with credit products, e.g. lending, trade finance or derivatives (incl. respective documentation) and basic understanding of client ratings (PD) as well as LGD concepts
  • Ability to work under pressure (good time management, prioritization, flexibility) as well as to independently coordinate complex business requests up to approval incl. coordination of different business and infrastructure functions
  • Very good communication skills with the ability to work in an international environment, and with different hierarchical and cultural levels
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written), German language skills preferable

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and monitoring a portfolio of ca. 35 Multi-National Corporate (MNC) groups as a Key Contact Person (KCP)
  • Support of business units via structured solutions for transaction requests
  • Monitoring of key markets with focus on specific industries and monitoring of our credit exposures
  • Production of regular and ad hoc credit reports and maintenance of documentation standards
  • If required, being part of projects within a limited timeframe
