Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of Management experienc

- Expertise in models to assess lending values for various securities and/or asset classes

Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is seeking a self-motivated leader willing to manage and lead a team of talented credit risk professionals. Role manages securities based lending credit risk and is responsible for creating a strategic vision to improve the way we manage credit risk in the first manager to oversee first line credit risk management and identify ways to further improve the way we operate.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop teams providing analysis, consulting, reporting, and ongoing process support to drive credit culture, appetite, and business performance with input from leadership
- Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Credit Portfolio Consulting functional area or who are affected by its outcomes
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development through business analysis or modeling
- Contribute to the development of appropriate strategies to ensure risk is within risk appetite
- Determine appropriate strategies and actions to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
- Interpret and develop credit policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including more experienced managers, and maintain relationships with corporate and business heads
- Interact directly with external customers
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Credit Portfolio Consulting
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Additional duties to include:
- Overseeing day to day credit risk
- Streamlining and automating manual processes where possible
- Driving strategic changes to our lending value framework
- Decisioning exception requests for clients
- Making portfolio level override decisions
- Managing on-shore and off-shore work
Required Qualifications:
