Roles & Responsibilities
Our banking client is seeking a Credit Portfolio Manager to join their team. The start date is ASAP.
As a Credit Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s credit portfolio, ensuring that it remains in line with the company’s risk management policies. You will analyze financial data, assess creditworthiness, and make strategic recommendations to optimize the portfolio’s performance. Your role will involve close collaboration with other departments, requiring excellent communication skills in French, Dutch, and English.

• Monitor and manage the credit portfolio to ensure it aligns with the company’s risk level and financial objectives.
• Conduct credit assessments and financial analysis of existing and potential clients.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks within the portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance, risk exposure, and key financial metrics for senior management and stakeholders.
• Engage with clients to understand their financial needs, provide insights, and offer tailored credit solutions.

Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit portfolio management, credit risk analysis, or a related field within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of credit lifecycle and accounting for all types of credits.
• Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, credit risk analysis tools, and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Experience to report to a group is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in all three languages, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Strong ability to adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory environments.
