If you are passionate, curious and ready to make an impact, we are looking for you to join the desk as part of the European Credit Research team.
As an Analyst or Associate in Credit Research, you will help to conduct and facilitate industry analysis and company-specific coverage. This involves core research ranging from dissecting earnings releases and regulatory filings to assessing relevant news events, modelling financial statements and industry dynamics, performing detailed valuation work, writing research notes and sector pieces, and speaking to internal/external clients and management teams about the companies/sector. You will work with our partners in both sales and trading to provide comprehensive client coverage, including fulfilling client requests for market updates and market intelligence. We look for candidates who possess strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing/communication skills, as well as modelling, forecasting, and valuation experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You will be expected to have relevant Sectoral experience in an analytical role, ideally in research, investment banking, accounting or at a rating agency
  • You bring in depth Excel, Word, PowerPoint knowledge
  • You’re enthusiastic about knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • You’re attentive to detail and easily adaptable
  • You demonstrate good judgment – decision-making is your strong point
  • You have strong interpersonal skills – you listen and communicate in a direct, succinct manner
  • Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, can engage and influence partners and stakeholders; You are good at communicating concepts and ideas, also via documentation, and you are keen to defend their validity and tailor messages to different audiences
    This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
