Description:

YOUR PROFILE

  • Candidates from a Business Administration/Finance education background with experiences in credit risk management in the energy sector are preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter, well organized, strong sense of initiative with the ability to think independently and solution-oriented
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of risk metric methodologies and credit risk mitigation tools
  • Good computer based skills, proficient in Excel, or similar analytical tools
  • Excellent spoken and written German and English is pre-requisite

Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of credit risk arising from Uniper’s commercial activities, including commodity trading, wholesale, and renewable energy projects
  • Performance of quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify key risks at a single name and portfolio level
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with credit limits approved for each counterparty
  • Negotiation of credit components in standard agreements (EFETs, ISDAs, CSAs, etc.) and bespoke contracts as well as negotiation of collateral concepts; successful representation of Uniper in credit negotiations with external counterparts
  • Maintenance of credit limits, collateral documents and related data in credit risk systems
  • Preparation of high quality credit limit applications
  • Enable market access and support new business initiatives and deal structures by developing and implementing suitable credit solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. Front Office desks, legal functions, counterparties)
  • Keep abreast of market developments and credit trends
