REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree of economics / business / corporate finance or comparable education
  • Experienced with MS Office and SAP – preferable S4/Hana
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience with focus in credit risk management. Knowledge in collection and receivable management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English. German language skills are an advantage.
  • Business-oriented, open-minded team player with willingness to develop and knowledge exchange.
  • Drive projects with innovational power.

Responsibilities:

  • Your ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness will be critical as you review and provide credit risk opinions to business units as it relates to their proposed customer financing and market investment programs.
  • Driving ensurance of global governance in relation to counterparty risks and associated to them guidelines (customer risk management, bank risk management, country-risk management, supplier risk)
  • Represents ECMS in front of customers and public, act as a key contact for counterparties in risk management and dunning and collection topics
  • Develops and leverages relationships with customers and partners to manage risk while facilitating sales
  • Reviews and analyzes blocked orders (incl. reasons and follow-ups with Customer Service and Sales Team). You should be comfortable making decisions independently where appropriate.
  • Supports to clarify payment discrepancies with customers, acts as escalation level for collection measures, addresses customers and stakeholders’ complaints professionally and timely.
  • Building and maintaining relationships throughout the organization, embracing change and fostering a One Team culture.
  • Proposes and implement approved process improvements and being interested in other related finance processes.
