Curve is seeking a dynamic and analytical Credit Risk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data-driven approaches to optimise portfolio performance, specifically in the context of consumer lending.
The candidate will utilise real-time, unique data and payments technology to drive credit risk strategies and improve our lending products. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of data, regulatory awareness, and a creative mindset to innovate in the fintech space.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and implement credit risk strategies to optimise portfolio performance using data-driven insights.
  • Utilise real-time data and advanced payment technologies to assess and manage credit risk effectively.
  • Analyse consumer lending data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science, product development, and compliance, to integrate credit risk management into product offerings.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of credit risk strategies and adjust as necessary to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain risk models and scoring systems to support decision-making processes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in credit risk management, preferably within a fintech or consumer lending environment.
  • Experience interacting and negotiating with third parties such as private debt funds, structured lenders, and ratings agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, knowledge of developing and deploying ML.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial services industry.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
