Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE
As a senior analyst, you will be responsible for developments in credit strategy, automated decisioning and portfolio monitoring of Business Lending products. As well as support wider Business Banking projects with credit risk analytics, insight, reporting and controls.
You will be responsible for observing developing trends, leading analytical deep dives and identifying new opportunities. You will maintain and develop portfolio monitoring tools while working with your stakeholders to drive change that optimises business return while maintaining great customer outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountability of the delivery of new and existing business lending credit risk strategies for Business Lending
- Manipulating complex data to investigate developing trends and draw insight from data
- Using hypothesis led analytics to assess portfolio performance, and formulate initiatives that generate business and customer value
- Using data to assist management and project stakeholders across the business with decision making
- Developing and maintaining effective controls that ensure our credit strategies and processes operate safely within agreed tolerances and meet our risk and governance obligations
- Reporting, escalating and remediating issues in a timely manner and in line with the Group’s operational risk processes, ensuring risk issues and actions are appropriately managed
