HOURLY REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-4 shows/week (*varies by market), 5 hour commitment for each show
  • Maximum of 20 hours/week
    The applicable wage for this position is £16.03 per hour.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE - CREW LEAD

The Crew Lead is an essential part of our local shows, leading the artist, venue, crew, and guest experience on the night of every show in their city. They will be responsible for supporting the production of every show in their city, facilitating the crew experience, cultivating a great guest experience, guiding artists through our event run of show, and overseeing all night of show operations.
The Crew Lead will take initiative, have strong assessment skills, provide coaching and feedback for your team and are agile in adapting to the ebbs and flows of each live event. Reporting to the Concerts Director, and working closely with their local Growth Manager or Local Promoter, the Crew Lead will be an important part of every area of the show experience to ensure the excellence of every Sofar show.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work every show as the principal Lead in your market, with a maximum of sixteen shows per month
  • Serve as the point person for day-of event operations and communications
  • Manage day-of event supplies and local gear inventory
  • Responsible for filling last minute crew and audio engineer gapsLead the run of show schedule, and hold crew accountable for timely and accurate on-site performance
  • Submit post-show reporting immediately following each event
  • Ensure the highest-quality experience and safety at every Sofar show
  • Delegate crucial show related tasks to crew membersYou’ll be a key leader among the local crew and always focused on quality of shows and exceptional artist experiences
