JOB SUMMARY
Price Benowitz, LLP currently has an opening for a Criminal Defense Litigation Attorney to join its criminal defense team and cover cases in Columbia, South Carolina.
- Resolve cases efficiently from intake through trial or plea negotiations.
- Represents clients in court, mediation, and administrative hearings as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout the life of the case.
- Work alongside senior attorneys and paralegals.
- Diligently supervises the work and development of the staff assigned.
- Ensures timely and suitable resolution of cases assigned.
Requirements
- JD in good standing with the South Carolina Bar.
- Must have at least 3+ years of Criminal Defense litigation experience.
- Must be thoroughly knowledgeable about cases in South Carolina.
- PCR and Appellate experience (preferred, but not required).
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Previous clerkship experience is a plus.
- Applicants should be motivated self-starters, who are able to work independently and communicate effectively with clients and the team.
- Must have a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a demonstrated history of excellence in their career, as well as a passion for serving clients.
