Description:
Responsibility for ICNARC and CCMDS database systems. Working on own initiative the post holder will be responsible for the collection, entry, collating and analysis of data. This will involve making decisions without day-to-day supervision and prioritising a predominantly non-routine workload to meet deadlines.
Gather, analyse, and interpret highly complex information and produce both routine and ad-hoc reports as requested
Monitoring of accuracy of demographic and activity data on the hospital Patient Management System (PAS)
Collect demographic and clinical data relating to patients in critical care from ICIP (commonly known as CareVue), patient notes and verbal communication
Collect demographic and clinical data relating to patients not in critical care, this may be from other system as these patients will not have data collected within CareVue
Responsible for day-to-day management of the databases that are used to collect and record clinical activity
Responsible for introducing any updates supplied by ICNRAC, training and co-ordinating the activities of the clinical team to collect the data sets and introduce these changes
Provide and present regular reports in various formats and identify trends to management and clinical staff including Consultants
