Zayo is seeking a Critical Spares Clerk to receive material into the Critical Spares area, to coordinate storage of material, and to make material available for the timely restoration of service. This activity includes system updates in Oracle Fusion to maintain accurate inventory data. Additional knowledge of software tools would be asset: Intellinum, Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive materials into the Critical Spares area at various GTA locations.
  • Locate and make available materials in the Critical Spares area.
  • Update information in Oracle for accurate Critical Spares inventory management.
  • Perform cycle counts of stocked items and investigate variances at different locations.
  • Process Critical Spares repairs.
  • Assist in the identification and inventory of new or used material.
  • Create labels for inventory and critical spare items.
  • Identify any issues affecting day to day activities and communicating with the leadership to address them.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good PC skills. Willingness to learn and/or working knowledge of Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Self starter, able to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with co-workers and communication with the leadership.
  • Recognize the importance of critical spares , and be dedicated to the success of their team.
  • Be a confident individual possessing excellent professional judgment
  • Have demonstrated experience in motivating, coaching and developing others.
