Description:

Active Brands is looking for a motivated intern to join our E-commerce team and support CRM and marketing automation efforts for a 6-month paid internship. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing automation, CRM, and newsletter design while contributing to key campaigns that target various customer segments.
As a CRM and Marketing Automation intern, you will assist in executing our marketing strategies, focusing on automated customer journeys, email campaigns, and content creation within newsletters, SMS, and other E-commerce channels. You will work closely with the marketing and CRM teams to set up flows, design content, track performance, and optimize engagement. This role offers a chance to be involved in both strategic and operational aspects of marketing, with a focus on e-commerce growth, customer loyalty, and data-driven marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communication, IT/Tech, or a related subject (or currently pursuing).
  • Experience or strong interest in Marketing, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, or Communication.
  • Content Creation & Copywriting Skills: Strong writing skills in both Norwegian and English, with the ability to craft clear, compelling content.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Dynamics 365, Voyado, HubSpot) and Marketing Automation platforms is a plus.
  • Basic design skills (e.g., Figma, Canva, Adobe, or similar tools) for marketing assets.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse marketing performance data and make data-driven recommendations.

  • A keen interest in how digital marketing and CRM systems can drive customer engagement and online sales.
  • A general interest in the sporting goods industry is preferred, as this will align with our brands values and customer base.
    This role within our E-commerce department, supporting our brands Kari Traa, Sweet Protection, Dæhlie, and Johaug, provides valuable insights into how CRM and marketing automation drive online sales growth and enhance customer experiences across our diverse brand portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Newsletter & Content Creation: Develop engaging content tailored to different audiences and segments for newsletters, SMS, and other automated channels.
  • Automated Flows & Campaigns: Set up automated flows, customer journeys, and marketing campaigns using Dynamics Customer Journeys.
  • Lead Generation: Help create and nurture qualified leads for our e-commerce platforms.
  • A/B Testing: Assist in the creation and testing of marketing materials, utilizing A/B tests to optimize performance and engagement.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse metrics such as click-through rates, open rates, and subscriber growth. Provide insights and recommendations to improve customer loyalty, increase engagement, and grow our subscriber base.
  • Community Engagement: Contribute to growing and engaging with our online community to bolster brand love, reach new audiences, and enhance customer interactions across digital platforms.
