Reporting to a senior member of the Finance & Administration team, the CRM & Data Specialist is responsible for managing the organization’s CRM platform, overseeing workflow development regarding customer relations, database management, and data insights. The position will work closely with several other functions and departments in the organization to achieve a high level of excellence regarding CRM and data management and best practices. This position will help contribute towards Ottawa Tourism’s goal of becoming a best-in-class, data-driven organization. To have the greatest level of impact in this position, we are looking for someone with confidence, experience, and a positive outlook.
This position is based out of the Ottawa Tourism offices in beautiful downtown Ottawa. Ottawa Tourism employs a hybrid work model, with some ability for all employees to work remotely. In some cases, certain positions will have an ongoing requirement to maintain a physical presence in the office. Such details will be discussed during the application process.

QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIELLES

  • Diplôme d’études postsecondaires dans un domaine connexe (GRC, gestion de bases de données, etc.)
  • Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience connexe, idéalement dans le domaine du tourisme et de l’hôtellerie ou au sein d’une organisation basée sur les membres ayant des besoins diversifiés
  • Capacité à travailler efficacement au sein d’une équipe
  • Capacité à planifier et à accomplir ses tâches avec un minimum de supervision
  • Compétence démontrée dans l’utilisation de logiciels de bases de données/gestion des relations clients et l’utilisation de fonctions Web d’arrière-plan
  • Connaissance de Microsoft Office 365, connaissance avancée d’Excel
  • Excellentes compétences orales et écrites
  • Capacité démontrée à prendre en charge des tâches administratives liées à la gestion des relations clients (GRC) et à travailler avec les équipes de réussite clients (fournisseurs de solutions GRC).
  • Compréhension des systèmes de gestion de bases de données relationnelles (SGBDR)
  • Compréhension de base des techniques de visualisation de données (graphiques, diagrammes, cartes, etc.) et de leur adaptation technique aux cas d’usage des rapports
