We are seeking a proactive CRM Executive (Salesforce) to join our Close Brothers Motor Finance team. This critical role will drive Salesforce initiatives that maximise sales effectiveness and accelerate commercial outcomes. Positioned within our dynamic Partner Engagement Value Stream, you will collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and the broader business to achieve key commercial goals. Your expertise will champion Salesforce best practices, ensuring continuous improvement and deliver tangible value for the business.

  • Proven experience leading and implementing sales CRM strategies in a sales-driven organization.
  • Strong knowledge of leveraging sales intelligence to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Experience supporting and coaching teams in Salesforce skills and best practices.
  • Proficient in data interpretation and visualization (any experience with CRM Analytics a bonus)
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Championing Salesforce Adoption:

  • Support the Value Stream in executing the Retail CRM vision and strategy, aligning with future business models.
  • Be a key contributor to the Salesforce-CRM roadmap and evangelise for its capability and broad benefit
  • Drive platform adoption and engagement through tailored training programs for sales teams, including onboarding, refreshers, and upskilling on new features/functions/integrations
  • Establish and maintain best practice processes, maximizing the commercial impact and ROI

Sales Effectiveness Analysis:

  • Track and optimise the sales cycle, ensuring robust forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial growth.
  • Deliver data-driven insights on Salesforce adoption, process efficiency, and system utilisation to sales leadership and business forums.
  • Develop reporting frameworks to assess the ROI of Salesforce integrations.

Continuous Improvement & Platform Excellence:

  • Lead a network of Salesforce champions, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Act as the Salesforce (Sales Cloud) Subject Matter Expert (SME), offering solutions for business challenges and enhancing the CRM backlog with best practice recommendations.
  • Write user stories & participate in key Agile ceremonies (Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Retro’s). Collaborate with the Squad (PO, Business Analysis, Dev, Test) ensuring that all system changes/updates are purpose-driven and effective.
  • Communicate progress and change initiatives clearly to a broad range of stakeholders.

Salesforce Business Administration:

  • Perform Salesforce administrative tasks as needed, such as managing calculations, dashboards, and data integrity.
  • Develop and oversee reporting tools and dashboards within Salesforce, contributing to external business insights.
  • Ensure overall system governance and data management, providing design and testing input
