Description:
The CROWN Project connects four distinct Core Projects in Ethiopia, Nigeria, UP (India), and Bihar (India), each of which aims to increase adherence to maternal micronutrient supplements among women of reproductive age. The CROWN Project uses a South-South model of learning by facilitating shared knowledge and growth across projects. Through the CROWN Project, each Core Project participates in cross-collaboration and knowledge sharing to expand and accelerate what we know about and how we approach adherence to supplementation. The CROWN Project is seeking a CROWN Research Assistant/Graphic Designer.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline.
- Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Interests in maternal health and nutrition, communications, and website management.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Prior experience working in graphic design.

Responsibilities:
- Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings and other project meetings as needed.
- Draft communications and graphic design materials for the project, including blog posts, tweets, quarterly newsletters, and presentation materials for donors and other stakeholders.
- Assist with paper writing, including conducting literature reviews and collecting other information needed for project technical briefs.
- Assist with other project tasks as needed.
