Our ports have a proud history serving the cruise sector and typically welcomes around 2 million passengers each year to the port, generating around £2 million for the economy on each visit. As Europe’s leading turnaround cruise port and in order to continue our commitment to providing a first class service to our Cruise customers, due to an internal promotion we’re looking to recruit a Cruise Coordinator to work from the office Monday through Friday.
The primary function of the role is to support the cruise team in all cruise activities by actively managing administrative functions, supporting the management of cruise bookings, the cruise budget and assist the Cruise Managers in coordinating all elements relating to the planning of a cruise call ensuring recharges are accounted for effectively and efficiently. There is a requirement to cover duty management responsibilities during our peak season.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a holistic overview of all planning requirements relating to a Cruise call
  • Manage all Cruise recharge costs that are omitted from Service Level Agreements
  • Support the Senior Cruise Manager in planning and managing all Cruise bookings
  • Monitor and help manage the Cruise Budget and Cruise Capital spend and on an annual basis, providing a monthly overview update.
  • Maintain all Service Level Agreements to ensure all parties are operating in line the relevant SLA
  • Raise and administer all purchase requisitions, purchase orders and invoices in line with Cruise spend
  • Receive & process personnel timesheets as required

Skills and Experience

  • Passionate about customer service
  • Experience of working within a highly competitive and pressurised environment

  • Ability to effectively plan and organise, meet tight deadlines and react to challenges with solutions
  • Demonstrable communication skills – Written & Verbal
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Maintain an understanding of confidentiality and the sensitive nature of information with an awareness of required discretion
  • Full current driving licence
  • Computer literate, experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
