Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Cryptography Specialist to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN, with the flexibility of remote work and travel options. This role is essential for ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive information through advanced cryptographic techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong linguistic skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

  • Work with software and system architects and various delivery team members on architecture and design to meet infrastructure and solution requirements;
  • Write and maintain solution requirements when needed and provide input and attend customer calls relating to project plan, use case user stories, and implementation plan details;
  • Participate in program management meetings or customer technical calls or workshops as required, interfacing with customer IT support staff on topics such as client and server hardware and network requirements, data and network security, encryption, access privileges, penetration remediation, patching, and integration with customer provided services such as authentication & authorization
  • Help manage lab infrastructure and environments supporting projects independently or as part of team;
  • Become familiar with Entrust products and configure application workflows, including optimization and risk management methods for various products configured within the solution;
  • Exercise JavaScript programming skills within application JavaScript sandboxes to implement or update specific business rules per solution requirements;
  • Use programming/scripting skills to automate or add automation to testing, staging or deployment process;
  • Conduct pre-installation validation to help discover and resolve defects during internal testing;
  • Participate with remote or on-site installation, integration, configuration and validation of Entrust software solutions, including integration with third party products and systems;
  • Conduct product or solution training creating/using standard or custom training documents as part of installation; * Document solution deployment details for sharing and handoff with technical support team;
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise in any of these areas: servers, networks, TCP/IP, RS-232, Microsoft and Linux operating systems, databases, hardware, fault-tolerance, high availability, disaster recovery and scalability.
  • Provide escalation level troubleshooting/resolution of technical problems, situationally escalating to other Entrust support or engineering teams while acting as a liaison with the customer;
  • Assist Customer with production PKI and related-product deployment issues that may arise;
  • Become familiar with toolkits and SDKs or integration hooks, potentially providing customer assistance;
  • Provide superior customer service and develop customer rapport towards being a trusted advisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field with 10+ years of technical experience in the following, or 12+ years of experience without a Bachelor’s degree as a Systems or Solutions Engineer or related.

  • Attention to detail with excellent analytic, troubleshooting, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Shows initiative assisting or owning issues/projects/documentation – drives to quality and completion.
  • Knowledge/experience with IT/Security infrastructure with ability to interact with IT discussing related concepts.
  • Experience working with source control tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, or JFrog as well as collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, Jira, Confluence, Oracle, etc..
  • Requires face-to-face, end-user customer relationship management.
  • Must be able to multi-task work with minimum supervision with a demonstrated ability to learn new products and technology quickly. Understanding of setup or administration of common VMWare and virtualization platforms
  • Experience with Windows/networking services such as Active Directory, DNS, IIS, or Certificate/PKI
  • Demonstrated success in effectively communicating at all levels of an organization
  • Some familiarity with database analysis, design, optimization and experience performing SQL and T-SQL queries.
  • Competent programming and/or scripting experience in JavaScript, advanced batch, python or powershell. * Ability to understand and create or edit high level network or data flow diagrams Preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with Entrust products (Entrust Certificate Authority, Admin Services, Identity Enterprise, Identity as a Service, Secura, DPP or Adaptive Issuance).
  • SCOM and SCCM or similar automated operations and delivery management platforms
  • Financial and Government sector experience
  • Experience working with Hardware Security Modules from Entrust (nCipher), SafeNet or Thales.
  • Knowledge in Linux, XML/HTML, Eclipse, Apache/Tomcat, Java, C#, and .NET programming
  • Experience with Cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
  • Security+ certification or basic understanding of Security DevOp
