  • They are to lead a safety-first culture as a priority, in all aspects of the CSA package management process whilst working close with the Project Lead. He/she must ensure that Goodman safety standards are applied in order to achieve the objective of zero accidents on our projects.

Design support:

  • Review and comment on all design information in collaboration with the Goodman engineering team to ensure it is buildable, commissionable, and compliant with Goodman’s requirements and those of the end-user.
  • Work with the Design Team and contractors to identify any design optimisation, and pre-fabrication opportunities.
  • Provide input to early development stage activities (securing land, power, and permits) for new or potential site acquisitions, including risk management from conception to project completion.
  • Support value engineering and optimisation initiatives and deploy them across all projects.

Procurement:

  • Collaborate with the Project Lead and Goodman programme team on the procurement strategy and process.
  • Fully review and evaluate general contractors and sub-contractor CSA package(s) and/or equipment package(s) tender returns.

Overall Package Management:

  • Manage all aspects of the CSA package, including contractor design, procurement, contract governance, pre-construction, mobilization, commercial aspects, and delivery through to handover with a defect-free ambition.
  • Undertake robust weekly audits of submitted method statements and risk assessments.
  • Ensure all reports and information defined in the general contractor’s contract documentation are issued within stipulated timeframes.
  • Assist with the preparation of all schedules, understanding critical path activities, system constraints, and interdependencies associated with your package responsibility.
  • Ensure the schedule is maintained and proactively address any delays or slips, advising the Project Lead promptly.
  • Ensure all works undertaken on-site are performed safely. Conduct weekly health & safety tours and record all identified issues on the Project H&S tool.

Quality Assurance QC & Commissioning:

  • Assist with all aspects of quality audit associated with your CSA package responsibility.
  • Collaborate with internal and external commissioning teams to ensure systems associated with your package responsibility are reviewed, completed, and available for commissioning.
  • Ensure each handover date or area completion is achieved defect and snag-free.
  • Ensure works are completed on time and include defect and snagging clearance.
  • Ensure that handover documents are complete and meet the required standards.

Reporting and Risk Management:

  • Proactively contribute to the risk management process, including actively contributing to risk mitigation planning.
  • Provide the necessary package data and narrative for Goodman’s reporting needs.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and consistent progress and status reporting of your package responsibility.
