Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria’s courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
The Magistrates’ Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
Responsibilities:
The Court Support Services Manager - Eastern Melbourne role is responsible for the leadership and management of the Court Support Services programs (including CISP and ARC). The role provides overall leadership to a multi-disciplinary team consisting of team leaders, advanced case managers, case managers and administrative staff, as well as having responsibility for implementing practice improvements and quality assurance processes across the programs. The role will support evidence-based service delivery and policy development within Specialist Courts and Programs. This exciting role will work in collaboration with the judiciary, a projects team, registry staff and key partners to implement the expansion and establishment of the Assessment and Referral Courts at the Dandenong and Ringwood Magistrates Courts.
