CSV Tester

Cognizant is seeking an agile and experienced IT CSV Test Engineer to join our collaborative team on a long-term contract basis. This full-time hybrid role based in Cork comes with a favorable salary and benefits package.
As an IT CSV Test Engineer, you will assess software quality on newly purchased and existing QCL and production Lab Instruments. You will conduct testing to ensure the software purchased from Lab Instrument vendors is fit for purpose, and any issues are removed or mitigated before release to QCL Labs and Manufacturing Operations.

IF YOU WERE ALREADY IN THIS IT CSV TEST ENGINEER ROLE, HERE ARE SOME OF THE AREAS YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN WORKING IN THIS WEEK:

• Authoring, executing and reviewing test scripts in HP-ALM
• Reporting and documenting technical issues and driving resolutions throughout the testing process
• Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards
• Analyzing test results, detecting issues and tracking root causes
• Reviewing and analysing System Overview and Design specifications.

TO APPLY FOR THIS IT CSV TEST ENGINEER ROLE, YOU WILL NEED AT LEAST THREE YEARS’ PROVEN EXPERIENCE AS A TEST ENGINEER OR SIMILAR ROLE. YOU WILL ALSO REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING:

• Good working knowledge of HP-ALM
• Experience in analysing and challenging s/w to identify gaps
• Previous experience in documenting and troubleshooting\investigating errors to resolution across multiple systems
• Proficiency in authoring test scripts
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Experience with 21CFR Part 11 requirements, ER/ES and data integrity guidelines.
