Responsibilities:

The following section outlines a more detailed but not exhaustive description of the duties pertinent to this post:
Take a lead in maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere in the studios, ensuring it is a welcoming and comfortable place to work, and for people to visit.
Ensure the reception in the studio area is kept neat, tidy and presentable at all times.
Greet all visitors to the College with a positive and professional manner.
Ensure visitors have completed the sign in and out procedures at reception and are provided with the appropriate visitor badges. Ensure all visitors are met on arrival and supervised throughout the duration of their visit, and ensure they are not left unaccompanied whilst onsite.
Check and ensure that all students and staff are wearing their CSVPA ID card before they enter the campus.
Answer the telephone in a timely manner.
Communicate any messages taken to the relevant recipient promptly.
Offer general help and advice for students as needed when they call at Reception.
Deal with all initial ‘walk-in’ enquiries and contact the appropriate staff to assist.
Deal with all incoming post, ensuring parcel deliveries are recorded and signed for.
Log and issue student post and check student ID cards at time of collection.
Arrange and record taxi transfers as requested.
Undertake general filing duties, including maintaining up to date student records.
Contact students to communicate messages from staff as required.
Book meeting rooms when requested by staff members.
Support the studio environment when requested
