PROJECT SUMMARY

:
B2E Consulting is seeking an experienced Data Architect to support a leading insurance client in their digital transformation programme. This role will involve extensive work on the design, modelling, and development of data architecture to enhance the client’s change initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong data architecture skills, particularly within the insurance sector, and will play a pivotal role in establishing best practices and frameworks across data management.

The project needs a consultant who:

• Industry Experience: Proven experience as a Data Architect within the insurance sector, ideally with exposure to large-scale digital transformation programmes.
• Data Modelling Expertise: Advanced skills in data modelling, including the creation of Logical Data Models (LDM) and data flow definitions.
• Architecture Design: Strong background in designing architecture frameworks and producing detailed architecture design documents.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

:

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Industry Experience: Proven experience as a Data Architect within the insurance sector, ideally with exposure to large-scale digital transformation programmes.
• Data Modelling Expertise: Advanced skills in data modelling, including the creation of Logical Data Models (LDM) and data flow definitions.
• Architecture Design: Strong background in designing architecture frameworks and producing detailed architecture design documents.
• Database Management Systems (DBMS): Proficiency in various DBMS, including SQL and NoSQL databases, with a focus on optimising structure and storage.
• Data Warehousing and Integration: Solid experience with data warehousing solutions and data integration tools to ensure smooth data transitions and reporting.
• Change Management: Ability to work within change management frameworks, guiding data architecture adaptations that align with business and technology needs.

OPTIONAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

It will also be advantageous if you:

• Business Acumen in Insurance: A strong understanding of insurance processes, data requirements, and regulatory considerations in the insurance sector.
• Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) to manage tasks and timelines effectively.
• Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices to support the integrity of data assets.
