The Cultivation Associate is responsible for supporting greenhouse cultivation operations in Ancaster, Ontario. As a key team member, they contribute to our company success by executing fertilization, planting, and harvesting plans, setting up grow rooms, and maintaining equipment hygiene.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years prior experience as a grower or a similar processing role in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience working with plants or in a greenhouse environment is considered an asset
Responsibilities:
- Engaging in basic plant maintenance (trimming, watering, fertilizing, etc.).
- Participating in grow room preparation and maintenance before, during, and after grow cycles and harvests.
- Transporting plants via carts and by hand.
- Working with other staff members and leadership to support department requirements.
- Ensuring compliance of company safety and quality procedures.
- Ensuring cleanliness of facility at all times by doing various tasks such as sweeping, mopping and sanitizing tools and equipment.
- Other responsibilities include: Working with soil, plants, and water.
