Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Cultivation Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Cultivation Associate, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our organic cultivation facility, assisting in the growth and maintenance of our cannabis plants. This role is designed to provide you with comprehensive training in all aspects of cannabis cultivation, allowing you to become well-rounded in every facet of the process.

Job Location: Pemberton, BC (must have secured housing in the sea to sky corridor)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
*Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant coursework or certifications in horticulture, organic farming, or plant sciences is a plus. *Experience: Previous experience in horticulture or a related field is beneficial but not required. We provide on-the-job training. *Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to learn all aspects of organic cultivation. *Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry up heavy materials and equipment and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity. *Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. *Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends, if required.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $23.00 - $25.00/hour.

Responsibilities:
*Plant Care: Assist with cloning, transplanting, and pruning cannabis plants to ensure optimal growth and health, following organic cultivation practices. *Nutrient Management: Help with the preparation and application of organic nutrients, including compost tea, to support plant health and growth. Learn to manage and adjust nutrient schedules for optimal results. *Irrigation: Assist in setting up and maintaining irrigation systems, ensuring consistent and efficient water delivery to plants. *Harvesting: Participate in harvesting activities, including hand harvesting, hanging, drying, and curing processes. *Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the cultivation area clean and organized, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards, and maintaining organic integrity. *Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of plant growth, nutrient schedules, and other relevant data to ensure transparency and track progress. *Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements related to organic cannabis cultivation.
