JOB SUMMARY

As a Cultivation Technician, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of our cultivation process. You will be responsible for overseeing plant care, maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and supporting our cultivation team in achieving production goals. You will work closely with the Cultivation Facility Manager to maintain a clean, efficient, and high-performing environment that supports the healthy growth of plants.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to pass a background check required.
  • Previous experience in cultivation or horticulture fields is preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50lbs throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, including trimming, plant handling, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support all stages of the plant life cycle, including propagation, vegetative, flowering, and harvesting phases.
  • Ensure plants are properly watered, pruned, trained, and managed according to facility procedures.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness regarding plant health and traceability to uphold the company’s standard for quality.
  • Ensure the grow facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls, and IPM protocols.
  • Observe, document, and immediately address issues with plants, equipment, or environments.
  • Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and counts of plants, and plant waste material logs.
  • Regularly organize and sanitize tools, equipment, and production areas used in the grow facility to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems.
  • Assist in inspections, whether initiated internally or through a governing entity, using inventory and compliance audits.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in cultivation rooms and facilities.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of cultivation areas, including sanitizing equipment and growing environments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
