JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Master Grower, we are seeking a Cultivation Technician for our Foss location at Redecan. This role entails the application of pesticides in our cultivation process, ensuring the health and quality of our crops. The ideal candidate will possess a pesticide license and demonstrate proficiency in pesticide application techniques. This position requires a hands-on approach to cultivation activities, maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

A valid pesticide license is required.
Previous experience in agricultural or horticultural work preferred.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds, as required.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and withstand exposure to outdoor elements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Reliable transportation required.
High school diploma or equivalent education.

Responsibilities:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow strict internal protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA, 2000)
Follow the Cannabis Act, Cannabis Regulations, and any new revisions
Comply with Quality Assurance SOPs, policies, and guidelines
Apply pesticide spray to crop in accordance to licencing regulations
Inspect product for deficiencies and report abnormalities to supervisor immediately
Follow product labels, determine label rates
Clean and disinfect equipment
Work cohesively with coworkers
Keep a tidy and organized working area and ensure personnel within their team are as well
Responsible of communicating with the team leads
Communicate with supervisors and management
Accept processing guidance from Team Leads and Supervisors growers and Master Grower

RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING CARE OF PLANTS WHICH INCLUDES:

Hand watering, spacing, cloning, pruning, transplanting, leafing, tying, harvesting
Reliable transportation required
Inspect plants and bud product for deficiencies and report abnormalities to supervisor immediately
