Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an Associate to be part of the independent product control function that partners with Financial Control, Valuation Control Group and Legal Entity Controllers in the month-end close process.
As an Associate within the Currencies and Emerging Markets - Product Controller team, you will be responsible for ensuring the business is compliant with rules, regulation and standards related to profit & loss recognition, risk reporting, balance sheet and capital management and external reporting.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in profit & loss and/or month end close process within the Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or Audit function
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a strong control mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Understanding of financial products FX, bonds and derivatives etc

Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily T+1 trader profit & loss and risk reporting at a trader/desk level
- Ensure US GAAP general ledger accuracy and represent for external regulatory filings, risk weighted asset (RWA) policy application and calculation
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
- Partner with the business to initiate and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
- Partner with various stakeholders like Financial Control, Valuation Control Group, Market Risk Coverage and Legal Entity Controllers for various processes
