Description:
State Street Global Markets is seeking a Currency Management Product Specialist, Vice President to represent and deliver the suite of currency management products managed by its Portfolio Solutions Group (PSG) as well as being fully conversant in other services offered by PSG.
The Product Specialist role combines responsibilities ranging from account management and onboarding, operational set-up, client servicing, relationship management and business development. We expect the successful candidate to be involved in all steps of the accounts and client life cycle.

Major Responsibilities:
The Currency Management team’s hubs exist in Frankfurt, Boston, London and Sydney. The European-based Product Specialist will be responsible for servicing the European client base, featuring predominately the large mutual / managed funds segment and asset owners.
Additionally, the Product Specialist will be responsible for representing the business to local senior management. The role will have a material onboarding, operational, and account management component coupled with business development and relationship management responsibilities.
Role Summary/Description:
- Carry out day to day account management activities such as: account set-up, onboard, new fund launches and project management
- Engage with senior management locally in the EMEA region, representing the broader Currency Management business and the operations taking place globally.
- Provide day to day support to clients in the region, addressing queries, managing change, and resolving time critical issues.
- Manage and develop client relationships. Provide clients with professional support on solutions design and any changes to product offering. Organize and lead periodic account reviews.
- Assist with EU Currency Management business development and product strategy efforts with a focus on market analysis and strategic business opportunities for continental Europe.
- Promote the Currency Management and other Portfolio Solutions products
- Be mindful of Risk Excellence. Operate in compliance with internal and external regulations and make sure that escalation procedures
Specific Qualifications:
- Graduate Degree. MSC or Equivalent in Baking/Finance a plus.
- Fluent English a must
Skills and Experience
- The successful candidate should have 10+ years’ experience in a financial services or buy-side organization
- Deep understanding of Fund Accounting /Custody/ Transfer agency operations
- Deep understanding of FX, derivatives and other securities markets
