POSITION OVERVIEW:

CIMT College is seeking a talented and experienced Course Designer and Developer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality educational programs that meet the standards set by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU). This role requires a deep understanding of curriculum development, instructional design, and compliance with ministry regulations.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in curriculum design and development, preferably within a post-secondary or private career college setting.
  • Proven track record of developing courses that meet regulatory standards, particularly those of the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.
  • Experience with various learning management systems (LMS) and educational technologies.

SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and curriculum development best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, LMS platforms, and course development software.
