WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:
We seek a dynamic and experienced education professional to provide curriculum leadership in First Additional Language pedagogy, specializing in one or more Indigenous African Languages. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of language curricula, ensuring culturally responsive and effective teaching practices at Curro primary schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert leadership in First Additional Language pedagogy, focusing on Indigenous African Languages
  • Develop and review language curricula, assessments, and resources
  • Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and stakeholders to enhance language teaching and learning
  • Conduct professional development workshops and coaching sessions
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness
  • Foster partnerships with language communities and cultural organizations
    The successful candidate will start on 01 January 2025.
