QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High school education in industrial technology (Verkstadsteknisk gymnasieutbildning)
  • Knowledge in welding, cutting machining, and sheet metal processing
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office and Bubbles
  • Effective problem solving skills, including recommending potential solutions

Responsibilities:

POSITION PURPOSE

We are currently looking for a Custom Fabrication Technician to join our team in our brand-new facility in Sundsvall (Birsta). The purpose of this position is to customize our products to meet the individual needs of our customers. The role involves performing tasks within the department while following the company’s priorities, which include maintaining health, environmental, and safety standards, ensuring high quality in all completed work, meeting established delivery reliability goals and demonstrating cost-awareness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customize and tailor our products to meet individual needs according to directives in the Customer Development Plan (CDP),
  • Experience in workshop technology work,
  • Work in accordance with current instructions and work routines,
  • Ensure all tasks are performed in line with the Principles of Lean Systems (PLS),
  • Follow relevant safety regulations within the work area,
  • Operate in compliance with Permobil’s Quality Management System (QMS).
