REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a comparable role desirable.
- Strong IT skills, with experience of the following applications an advantage: Oracle/DMS, Peoplesoft, PCScales
- Very Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must be detailed oriented and previous finance or accounting experience would be an added advantage.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English Language and must display a professional demeanour with high ethical standards, confidentiality and trustworthy
- Self-Starter, Team Player with drive and ambition
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision under rigid time constraints.
- Good with time management and have a good attention to detail
- Excellent at problem solving and organisational skills.
- Possess a high degree of initiative, self-motivation and resourcefulness.
- Experience in the waste industry in is an advantage.
- An accounting technician qualification or similar would be an advantage.
- A knowledge of the waste and /or energy market would be an advantage.
