JOB TITLE Customer Account Manager - Freight Forwarding
SHIFTS Mon-Friday 39 Hours/week

With a base in 5 European countries and a growing presence in mainland Europe we are looking for Customer Account Manager/Freight Forwarder to play a major role in our Freight Services team.
Whether it’s regular Full Truck Loads (FTLs) from A to B, imports and exports, or express vans delivering to multiple locations, we have the experience, equipment and network to support our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide logistical solutions to GBA customers, ensuring that all job bookings are handled efficiently through use of the GBA systems.
  • Quote across customer platforms to win new business.
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience in freight forwarding (FTL)
  • Be a self-motivated target driven professional keen to succeed in this fast-paced environment and with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Develop and report on customer account KPIs, forecasts and budgets.
  • Arrange and participate in customer visits.

You

  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience in freight forwarding.
  • Strong sales/quoting background.
  • Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills
  • Great attention to detail and comfortable with mutiple IT systems
