Description:

Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a Customer Account Manager to join our team based in Cheltenham to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work within the Programme Team supporting the Military MRO Programme Lead in managing a portfolio of customer relationships, maximising customer satisfaction and delivering on sales plans. Acting as the product/platform expert within the business for designated product area, building strong relationships with customers where you will actively participate in meetings and reviews with the customer. You’ll manage all activities associated with the execution of the delivery of the Revenue Stream Budget and work with the Revenue Management Team and Programme Manager to co-ordinate product pricing, RFQs and RFPs to ensure maximum value creation. You’ll be key in ensuring inventory levels and lead times are appropriate to meet requirements and provide opportunities to grow sales by analysing the market and commercial activity.
What you’ll already have
You’ll need well developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and enjoy building relationships with external and internal customers, you’ll apply attention to detail and take a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Ideally you’ll have a working knowledge of the aerospace or defence industries combined with experience of UK, EU and US Commercial and Government contracting and import/export regulations.
The role may require some travel to be undertaken.
