Description:
Customer Account Manager
Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for an additional Customer Account Manager to join our programmes team responsible for managing relationships with a portfolio of clients. This role will be based at our Staverton site.

The Role:
As a Customer Account Manager, you’ll work within the Programme Team supporting the Value Stream Manager in managing a portfolio of customer relationships, maximising customer satisfaction and delivering on sales plans. Acting as the product/platform expert within the business for designated product area, building strong relationships with customers where you will actively participate in meetings and reviews with the customer.
You’ll manage all activities associated with the execution of the delivery of the Revenue Stream Budget and work with the Revenue Management Team and Programme Manager to co-ordinate product pricing, RFQs and RFPs to ensure maximum value creation. You’ll be key in ensuring inventory levels and lead times are appropriate to meet requirements and provide opportunities to grow sales by analysing the market and commercial activity.

To be successful in this role, you will need well developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and enjoy building relationships with external and internal customers, you’ll apply attention to detail and take a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Ideally, you’ll have a working knowledge of the aerospace or defence industries combined with experience of UK, EU and US Commercial and Government contracting and import/export regulations.
The role may require some travel to be undertaken.
