Description:
BSA Security and Fire are actively seeking, for an exiting new role of Customer Appointment Diary Clerk to join our friendly, professional, and family run business.
BSA Security & Fire are an NSI Gold installer of commercial and home security systems and a BAFE accredited fire alarm company who have been highly regarded since our business began in 1971. We have achieved these accreditations by ensuring that we set ourselves the highest standards in terms of the equipment we use and the quality of our workmanship. We are based in Lowestoft and service Norfolk and Suffolk providing excellent customer service to homeowners, businesses, and the public sector.
The package:
Reporting to our Operations Manager, as a Customer Appointment Diary Clerk you’ll provide support to the Office/Management Team to help deliver a high standard of customer service to all our customers. This exiting new role will include but not be limited to contacting existing contracted customers, booking monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual services to their alarm system.
You will be the face/voice of BSA Security and Fire demonstrating our excellent customer service and professionalism. You will be the first contact for our customer and will follow the service process to provide an efficient complete service package.
This will include providing quotations for additional work or repairs, emailing job sheets and leading to invoicing after full training completed.
This role if often fast paced, reactive and challenging, the ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure - a good sense of humour is essential!

Permanent contract working predominantly Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 13.00 Friday 12.00pm to 17.00pm (occasional flexibility will be required to help support the needs of the business and cover sickness/annual leave).
23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (Pro rata)

Answering the telephone
Deal with all customer enquiries
Booking appointments
Office General Administration
Managing engineers’ paperwork requirements
Completing all administration work to the highest standard
(May include - Manage social media accounts and schedules, engaging with audiences and compiling performance reports)
Undertake any relevant training as required
Ensure all relevant H&S requirements are complied with
Our requirements:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience within an administrative role
Proficient in the use of computer packages
Client focussed approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure, manage workloads and prioritise tasks
Strong teamwork skills
A creative mindset with a willingness to contribute fresh ideas
Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices and current legislation
Preferred full UK driving licence
Due to the nature of our business, all successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory Security Screening and DBS check.
