Description:

The sports, weight management, & active lifestyle nutrition category is experiencing strong growth and GPN has significantly outperformed the market. GPN has a strong, vertically integrated global manufacturing platform and production capabilities across a range of categories.
We are hiring for a new role: The Customer Business Manager, Foodservice, is responsible for sales and execution of Foodservice category initiatives across Glanbia Performance Nutrition’s entire portfolio including coverage of foodservice distributor partners (i.e. Compass, PFG, Aramark, Sysco, broadliners, etc) at the regional and local level. This role reports directly into the Senior CBM of Foodservice and executes the Foodservice sales agenda managing broker partners to achieve goals.
What you will do: Execute and close sales calls with a focus on value-added selling activities for specified accounts Execute “Looks of Success” in outlets, sell and implement campaigns, and sell promotional programming into existing accounts Support activation of smoothie strategy Qualify and prospect new business leads with broker partners to secure new customers and execute channel “Looks of Success” Acquire specified number of accounts based on assigned plan Review business results with Key regional customers Track daily, weekly and monthly activity and performance measurements against assigned goals and expectations Work with cross-functional teams as needed to meet business objectives Demonstrate a positive and customer-focused attitude and manage time effectively Support contract renewal negotiations as needed Other projects or duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED:

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience
Existing knowledge of Foodservice channels & business segment at all levels: Micro-Markets, Lodging, Corporate Dining, Healthcare, Education and Amusement Recreation.
Current Foodservice customer relationships at regional level FoodBuy/Compass, Sodexo, Aramark, Vistar Key Account Managers
Knowledge of “New Item Set Up” within the Broadliner systems: Sysco, US Food’s, Gordons Foodservice, etc.
Ability to travel 45%
The Sales Manager will flawlessly execute growth strategies, tactics and executional plans, facilitating the develop of broker team capabilities by providing value added information, selling stories and category management initiatives to optimize sales results and participate in key customer sales calls.
