Job Description
EcoVadis is looking for a Customer Care Associate to take ownership of our customers’ experience and provide high touch assistance to their questions and concerns. You are a trusted advisor and have the power to influence by being the eyes, ears, and voice of our company. You are on the front lines of the EcoVadis mission!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engage with customers via phone, email, etc to assist in the customer support process.
  • Conduct internet-research to clarify and validate companies’ registered information such as legal entity, their business activity and scope of operations.
  • Input such information of companies of various sizes, industries and global locations, into EcoVadis suppliers’ database using Country company registers and online databases.
  • Respond to queries from clients via email and phone and contact internal and external stakeholders to get more information when required.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the qualification process.
  • Participate in Collaborative initiatives with other teams within the organization, such as Supplier Engagement (support, live news research and engagement by phone).

Qualifications
You must have an exceptional level of drive and a desire to learn new skills. You should have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, as well as the ability to easily connect with others.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • Fluency in English is a must
  • High proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish language required
  • At least 1 year of experience preferably with international exposure in a customer service /support role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree completed.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize based on business/customer needs.
  • Salesforce and/or Zendesk experience a plus.
  • An excellent level of computer literacy, especially using MS Excel, Word and other desktop tools.
  • Customer and quality-oriented attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
