THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Customer Care Consultant, you will be part of a team that provide support to our customers. You will contribute to success by assisting customers with queries while being proactive to problem solve with overall satisfaction being an important goal. You will also assist customers and coordinate within the showroom onsite.
This is a full-time opportunity and will be base onsite at our Blackwoods Mandurah WA.

SOME OF THE SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Previous customer service or trade counter experience within an industrial or hardware background preferred
• A proactive and positive attitude with a highly motivated work ethic
• Willingness to work well in a team environment and assist in other areas of the business when required.
• Great communication skills and ability to multi-task
• Experience in providing bold ideas to improve the customer experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a small team
• Exposure to Microsoft Office suite

• Act as first point of call for all telephone and front counter-based sales enquiries
• Build and cultivate relationships with our customers face to face and over the phone
• Processing customer orders, expediting and credits
• Problem solving and complaint resolution
• Reconciliation of daily cash, EFTPOS and cheque transactions for banking
• Participate in store replenishment exercises and daily stocktakes
• Proactively working to retain knowledge of products and systems
• Maintenance of general housekeeping in your assigned work are and help to maintain the shop front to a high standard
